Carpentry For Women September 16-18

LEARN THE BASICS OF CARPENTRY including power and hand tools

                              SEPTEMBER 16-18, 2016

        Friday 5 pm to Sunday early afternoon  –  $200. includes lodging, meals and carpentry instruction


Learn about and use power tools including circular saw, jig saw, drills, miter saw, sander,

Learn about and use hand tools including hand saw, speed square, wrenches, tape measure,

Learn basic carpentry principles and design including framing, layout, types of wood,

This will be a safe and fun, hands-on where we will build and work on real projects.


Kathleen has been building and renovating her Finnish homestead for over 40 years.  She apprenticed for 5 years with the Weatherization Program and Conservation Technologies in Duluth.  She owned a construction business in Brimson for 20 years and has built and renovated all of the buildings at Wintermoon Summersun.
